Simplicity is an important design element that’s hard to define, and even harder to find. We tend to define it as removing unnecessary elements until only the important parts remain. Simple, clean lines match up with a plant and material palette that is restrained, leaving the architecture of the home to stand out.
Stone paving connects the house to the landscape, while a tempered glass fence maintains safety without blocking views. Large massing plants connect the built environment to the natural forest and stream at the back of the property.
